I was skeptical about this product, but thought I would try it and return it if I was dissatisfied. It works really well. Tough to hold it steady when it is zoomed out to the max, but works great for closer objects. I loaded it on a tripod and attached my iPhone 6s with the mounting hardware provided, then zoomed in the best I could with the scope and used the phone zoom to take a pic of the street sign on the corner of my street. I used my bike computer to measure the sign distance to be 200 yards. I tested it again and took a pic of a bald eagle nest approx 170 yards away. Both pics were with the scope on a tripod and I used a shutter release cable to prevent vibration. I am satisfied with this product.

The scope can be easily attached to a tripod by a screw mount. I wanted the scope primarily for bird watching, but also for taking on hikes and outings. It exceeds my expectations. I set up the scope on a tripod, attached my iPhone 7, and within minutes captured my first photo of a hummingbird. Needless to say I was very pleased with the result. The is lightweight, easy to carry on hikes or trips - it has a case you can carry on your belt - and the optics are great. I felt I could count the pine needles on the branch of a tree about 1,000 yards away!
