I got this toy as a gift for my daughter. Originally the first unit I received was flawed and I expressed my feelings about this in a bad review. The owner of the company immediately reached out to me in an email and corrected the issue. She quickly addressed the issue with the factory and sent a replacement unit for the defective toy. She followed up with me through email to make sure the unit had arrived and then a personal letter through the mail a week later. Because of this I have added other toys from this company to my Christmas list.I am in no way endorsed by this company at all, I was just genuinely satisfied with the customer service that I received and our replacement unit was absolutely free of all flaw. My 2 year old does some play oriented therapy and her therapist 100% approves this toy as well.

He bangs on it, pushes it, moves through it with his lil fingers, and it keeps him entertained for chunks of time...he's only 9 months old now, but he's been intrigued with it since he first received it over a month ago. He's a busy body, but he always playing with (or tasting) these throughout the day- the sensory balls, the stacking cups, and the wooden box. I have taken away the lil shapes for now because they're small and he wants to constantly put them in his mouth and don't want him biting paint off. I definitely didn't think my son was going to like it as much as he does, so it's worth having.

Definately a great toy. I like that you can lift the top and turn it over to make the surface flat. The only downfall to that however, is that you can't secure the lid. I do fear my child would want to lift it themselves and then possibly pinching her fingers. Other then that, it does have a lot of little things to do on it. The paint doesnt flake or peel off, easy to clean, and a good buy for the price.

It looks durable I like that it's made out of wood, I do agree that the bottom being hollow is a little different but I dont hate it, it would be much heavier if it wasnt, my daughter smacked herself once trying to flip it towards herself and moving her head in the same direction but it was nothing serious she still very much enjoys this toy.

I researched a few of these maze toys and this one seemed to have a good combination of activities, especially for the price. There 6 sides instead of the usual 4 sided-box. He loves these kinds of tactile toys, especially the side with the gear on it. My 10-month old can easily pick up the toy and place it on its side so it's not super sturdy and I do have to constantly turn it back to right side up. The maze part can be placed on top or turned inward for storage. Again, baby can easily knock it off the base but he mostly plays with it on carpet so it's not a big issue. The animals are cute (although the elephant is brown) and I guess I trust the test reports?
