This pillow is an excellent solution for people with neck alignment issues that sleep a majority of the time on their side. Even if you turn side to side, as long as you set your ear in the ear hole, you will be stay aligned and have considerably less neck pain in the morning. I pack this pillow when I travel because hotel pillows are very inconsistent; I even bought a second pillow which I keep in my mother's guest room so I don't have to pack it when I visit. Very pleased with this purchase.

PROS: When sleeping your side, it keeps your neck & back straight by supporting your head high enough without lifting your shoulders. I also like it for neck support when lying on my back. CONS: It requires a custom J-shaped pillow case. It does comes with one, though. NEUTRAL: I haven't used the little depression for your ear. It seems like it would be hard to keep it aligned. It hasn't mattered though, because it has enough "give" that my ear isn't uncomfortably smushed.
