How to use

1. Pull open the telescope, put the telescope cylinder on the yoke, and lock the mirror with the fixing screw.
2. Insert the mirror into the focusing cylinder and fix it with the corresponding screw.
3. Attach the eyepiece to the reflector and secure it with the appropriate screw.
4. If you wish to zoom in with a 1.5X forward lens, place it between the eyepiece and the barrel so that you can view the objects.

I've read that some beginner telescopes can be difficult to get the hang of and that it might be best to use them to look at far objects in the day. I will try that prior to using it at night. Got this telescope quickly, well packaged, and had it up 100% assembled in under 15 minutes. I am an amateur astronomer with a little extra ambition and drive so I decided to seek out a telescope that would suit both close up objects and some further distanced items. I get very precise views of little clusters of craters on the moon with the 5mm eyepiece and 3x Barlow lens together, it is a bit harder to find the exact focus as you amp up the magnification but the slow motion focus knob gets you a clear image at any level as long as you're patient and have a steady hand! As far as the tripod goes I have had no problems as of yet, it is a sturdy build especially when the tray is mounted in between the legs. Be careful though that you don't screw the legs too tightly or the screw may come out, I learned the hard way and now have just 2 screws of 3, but a small clamp works until I can get it fixed, and I'm sure it is not to fault of the manufacturer, rather that I excessively tightened the screw. As of now I have nothing bad to say about the scope. The moon pic below is using just the 25mm eyepiece and barlow 3x lens.
