The solid brass fittings and superior strain relief collar are crush resistant while the thick, specially formulated latex inner layer expands to produce more velocity and higher pressure. Plus, it expands and contracts when water is turned off for easy maneuverability and storage.

I take the hose off the faucet and leave it coiled up in a little bucket in the basement, no risk of it freezing and breaking. Not hard to collect up when done watering. The nozzle seems of good quality as does the brass shut off. Keep in mind this: while there is pressure in the hose, it is the length it is supposed to be. Once pressure is gone then it shrinks up like it says in the add. I do recommend this product for home use.

Once you turn on the water, the pressure will expand the hose, probably 3x in length, and it works as normal.
