The solid brass fittings and superior strain relief collar are crush resistant while the thick, specially formulated latex inner layer expands to produce more velocity and higher pressure. Plus, it expands and contracts when water is turned off for easy maneuverability and storage.

I had my doubts when I opened the box that this hose would actually stretch the 50 ft as advertised - but it magically does! Love it. Takes up very little space when contracted. Just make sure you turn off the water and use the spray nozzle to rid the hose of the water in it. Otherwise when it is hung up and slowly contracts you get unexpected gushes of water at the connection.

Works as advertised. We got rid of two, old styled, rubber hoses that were always difficult to use and store. We actually ended up buying three of these. They are amazing to work with. I use them with our pressure washer with no problem. They stretch out to even longer than advertised. Just turn off the tape and release the water pressure and they shrink back to 1/3 their length and are extremely flexible for easy storage.

The older hose is bulky and an eye sore as I don't always wrap it up properly and I leave it lying on the ground next to the water valve. It's heavy and takes up too much space. This one expands out the way it's described and when you're done using it, it shrinks back to a very low weight, small size. The water pressure is good. When you're done using the hose, turn off the house water valve while keeping the sprayer activated and the hose shrinks back to it's original size.
