The Easy Walk is really a game-changer. When I had it recommended to me by several frequent dog fosters, I assumed it would set me back at least 4 times the price I found here on Amazon. And to be honest, I was a bit skeptical when I received such a small package. It looks just like a "standard" harness that you'd get for about the same price at a pet store. The one exception is the little cross strap that goes across your pup's chest. It doesn't look like much, but the configuration made an IMMEDIATE improvement for my very hard-pulling Treeing Walker Coonhound. I say in complete seriousness that she went from going in my orbit and pulling this way and that to doing a near-perfect heel, something that she would rarely ever do in the past. Mind you, this isn't a magical cure for leash/walking problems. It just gives you a huge head start on getting the right behavior out of your dog. My pup has a tendency to get herself tangled up in the leash, and it doesn't correct her when she's lagging behind to sniff at something that interests her. That said, she had previously escaped from her top-mount harness, by suddenly pulling backward and slipping her legs out. There is no such escape route with the Easy Walk.

I haven't used the muzzle-led harnesses, so I can't compare with those products. But my large breed dogs respond very well to this harness, if you can train yourself to put it on correctly! It takes a bit of practice; you must put the different-colored strap under the belly. My most memorable occasion was with a rescue basset, who did a couple somersaults the first time it was put on, then never pulled on a walk again! I now have one for my 18 month old Great Dane and my 5 month old hyper Lab puppy, and they heel with minimal reminders and love their walks! The science behind it is that if they pull, their front legs begin to press together, so naturally they slow to the owner's pace to feel more balanced. Be sure the under strap is not so tight they can't sit; my Dane struggled with the slight grip it will put on his (admittedly weird) body structure in a sitting position, but the great thing is that once the owner is in control, everyone is safe and can enjoy walking city streets without worrying about traffic and cats, and other dogs, and squirrels and bicycles... highly recommended!

I purchased an Easy Walk harness 14 years ago for my then 9 month old puppy. It worked like a charm! As she "grew up" she became my constant companion. She stayed by my side, understood everything I said to her in human talk and no longer needed a harness. I switched her to a regular collar and only leashed her when I had to.

We got this in preparation for some new winter activities we want to try this winter, mainly skijoring. We ordered a lovely blue harness in large for our 70 pound white pitbull. It is a little big on him but we will mainly be using this in the winter and he will be wearing a jacket at the same time, so we want it to be a bit larger anyways. Even though it is a little big It doesn't hurt him or cause him any discomfort just wearing it bare in the backyard pulling our 9yr niece around in her wagon. We're not sure who enjoys it more, keeps both niece and pup busy. Its a multipurpose quality harness that is literally good for any season, our dog gets excited to put it on. We got this with the bungee because everything we have from this company is superior quality. Highly recommend.

My dog is new to pulling anything so this harness helped a lot to keep the introduction easy and nice, it fit well, the straps adjusted perfectly for his size, and while a little confused, it was a lot better then using any old harness, and he didnt have any problems from it, it didnt rub his skin or seem to cause any discomfort from pulling. Overall its a great harness, and from when I inspected it, insanely sturdy, and built to last. Its definitely worth the money if you want a good harnes for your dog to start sled dog training, or pulling carts.

These work great. I used mine for a 73lbs Belgian malinois and a 55lbs border collie. Medium worked great for both, very adjustable. Probably not recommend for dogs that like to back out of their harnesses though.

I ordered this for my Australian Shepherd to pull a plastic toboggan and just have a little fun in the snow. It arrived quickly, adjusted easily, and we’re having fun! I would definitely recommend this product.

Love these harnesses! Standard Poodle is 50lb and wearing a medium, Australian Shepherd is 37lb and wearing a small. In retrospect the AS could be in a medium also but still fits her well. Had you YouTube how to put them on as it can be confusing but plenty of YouTube videos to help! Dogs loved their first outing and we will be training them up to do some bikejoringand hiking over the next few months. Awesome!

Absolutely love this harness. Looks good on my collie, looks comfortable and feels good to touch. Easy to slip on (once you figure it out!) and off. Super lightweight and great colour
