It also does not protrude far above your nose. So it does not interfere with your field of view too much. It does cause some problems when wearing goggles, though. A full face mask is probably a better idea if you need eye protection as well. I sometimes wear safety glasses when using this mask. But not often. So, it isn't as much of an issue for me.
