It’s designed for comfort when carrying your child. A lot of stress is put on your lower back and arms leading to back problems, with hip hugger all of your babies weight is evenly distributed to relieve stress on your lower back and maintain a well balanced posture.

If I wanted to carry my guy to get my daughter of the bus my arm wouldn't feel like it was falling off by taking all of his weight on my own. For example, it worked perfectly when I wore it recently at a memorial service with a dress. The Honeyroo is also easy to put on; you do not need to be a contortionist to buckle the straps. In the interest of full disclosure, the seat does dig into my lower abdomen and pull on my lower back after a while. However, I imagine that it is impossible for a baby carrier to be completely comfortable. The pros of the Honeyroo greatly out weigh the cons, and I highly recommend it!
