This device is just what the gardener needs to save his/her joints. It is very sturdy, easy to open and close, easy to transport (not particularly heavy), and takes the strain off the back, hands, and knees when having to kneel to plant something or do other yard work that requires being at ground level. For me, it facilitates my being able to get back up off the ground more easily. I normally use it as a kneeler, but it doubles as a seat which also comes in handy.
