I was actually surprised at how nice these were. The feathers are good and not worn or frazzled looking. the placement is excellent. I didn't have to spend any time trying to get the feathers to fully cover. If the attachable wings had thier bamboo sticks in a better spot, it would have been fantastic. If you are however placing the birds on something that allows for the long curved tail to fit, it looks great. If you don't have that space, you're gonna have to use the feet wires to hold the bird in place. The eyes are a bit googley and the beak is a touch downturn, but once again, it might work to your advantage in your placement.
