I tried again this morning and the stove switch doesn't work at all, if the battery is still in it. I don't mind trying to return it, the boxes have already been cleaned up by the cleaning department. I'm sure the sink will delight her but it's a shame when the kitchen has sound, light and cool steam coming up

I read where some had the kitchen section stopped working. I think it's because there are gaps around the knob and burner so if water gets in it can cause damage. This is very interesting though, I will keep it and hopefully be careful not to let water get into unprotected spaces, it will work for many years. Not sure if it's for 3 year olds as they would be more careless with water. So be sure not to plug the plug into the sink and leave the faucet on it to overflow. LAUGH

It says there is a protective gasket for the battery case but I don't see any so not sure if water could get into the battery case and cause damage. So I glued clear tape to the gap around the top of the battery box.
