I like this tail light the meilan x5 because it's put together better I had one from a different company and it wasn't very good fell apart after 6 months but I have on a mountain bike how to write in the streets short gets a lot of vibration the hard hits I really can't tell you but this one's going to take the abuse as far as illumination it's the brightest 1 I've scene, as far as battery life I really can't tell you how long it will last so I just got the light itself it should work for at least 4 to 5 hours but you're going to have to recharge every night for the next day.

Just got this in today so don't know about how long the battery will last, but just turning it on and playing with the functions I'd say it's worth it and might I add that someone did say it reminded them of the Knight Rider vehicle KITT. This will prove useful on the bike trails and riding around in the city. Very easy to install whether on the seat post or using the saddle clamps included with this light.

This tail light is the real deal. You can't beat the price, attachment options and functionality. Turn signals, brake signals, the blink function, and the laser guides that warn drivers to keep a safe distance. I even had a problem with one of the mounting brackets for the saddle clips and the seller responded promptly with a replacement. I read one other review that was poorly written with a complaint about the flashing light function, it seems he didn't understand that the light turns solid again when you stop, as part of the auto brake sensor. The light also turns off automatically in daylight, black electrical tape will disable the function and is not visible unless removing the light and inspecting thoroughly. I love this thing and recommend to the commuter, weekend warrior, casual biker, and serious long distance bikers. Its affordable and the best option on the market, bar none!

I loved having the buttons on my handlebars, and in a recent group ride, people liked seeing the turn signals, and a passing car even commented that it was nice to see me from far away and to know that I was turning the same way as them! I bypassed the light sensor with a piece of tape, and the unit held secure to my Seatpost even on a bumpy and icy gravel road ride. The Laser Lane markings are not visible in the daylight, but look cool when the sun is down. I was able to operate the remote with gloves on, and it is very nice that there is a light for each button to confirm what you last pressed if you glance down such as to ensure you pressed the turn signal you meant to. Depite riding in the cold, the battery held-up well and lasted for 2 hours rides multiple times with lots of button pressing to indicate my intended turns.

Bought this for my Sur Ron since I didn't want to mess with the wiring to put a tail light on there so this was the perfect solution. The turn signals aren't too visible so I wouldn't rely on them but the tail light itself and the lasers that are projected onto the ground are super bright and look pretty cool. The remote to control the lights are easy to mount onto the bars but the rubber band isn't tight or grippy enough. The remote moves around every time you press a button so I don't even bother trying to use the signals. I mainly got it for the tail light since the stock light that came on the Sur Ron isn't too bright. I feel 100x's more visible to cars with this tail light. I've only had it for a month and so far so good. I've used it for 6 hours straight and the battery hasn't died.

Not one bad thing to say except make sure you identify the on and off tiny switch on the right side of the light frame. If you don’t turn it on, the remote cannot possibly work! When you charge the light, it lights up and you think it is on qnd ready to connect with the remote. Not so! The light is what is says it is and does. I love it and bought two for each of my bikes and motor vehicles notice me well at night. The turning signal is a must function here, but I use every function. The speed sensing stop light function does not work for me on either light I bought, but I can turn it on manually.
