Escape Proof Cat Vest Harness And Leash Set, Cat Traction Rope Vest-Style Reflective Chest Harness

My best buddy is a 12-pound chihuahua-Jack Russell. He'll be 2 years old this coming June. I have purchased four of these.so far. Not because he has worn them out, but because they are so good. And he can alternate colors frequently. Matter of fact they show no wear at all. They are not restrictive and he seems to be unencumbered by them. It has a very sturdy velcro closure behind the neck, a plastic locking clip, and two metal chrome rings to attach a leash to, at the same location. He's wearing a size small now but he's getting a little chubby so I ordered him a new one made of what looks like suede. I'm sure he will love it He looks very handsome and I think he knows it. I take it off at night, but between 3 and 4 am he will awaken me to go out and relieve himself. Sometimes he will have the harness in his mouth.. I'll lay it on the bed and he steps onto the leg openings and I pull it up, lay,the flap onto the opposing side with the velcro and click the fastener and he s ready to go.Takes about three seconds. I love them .I would not even consider another one, as none looks as sturdy and as simple to put on and take off. And the price is right..

My dog is a "petite" 5 pound 7 ounce chihuahua, according to her vet and I couldn't find reviews on her body type (large chest, sunken in stomach) so I was afraid the sizing wouldn't be right for her. The measurements were a little off so I just went with my best guess and the XS fits her perfectly (I figured if it was too small I could adjust adjust the velcro to be loose, it would be harder to tighten it as under the "snaps" there is very little space for the velcro flap to over lap)! I'll post a picture of her body type for other that are unsure, I haven't taken a picture of her in the harness yet but it fits perfectly, no adjustment needed.

I have two size mediums. On my large fluffy cat it is a bit snug, and on my medium sized short hair it's a bit loose, but she hasn't escaped yet. As far as harnesses go this is really easy to get them in and out of due to the large arm holes and fasteners on the back. I didn't need help like I usually do. Feels like good quality too. When taking this off for the first time you may want to keep them distracted/talk to them/etc. as the velcro noise will freak them out.

I love, love, love this cute little harness! I would absolutely recommend it for your dog, especially if you’re buying it for a puppy! My puppy is 10 weeks old, about 10 pounds or so. Her chest is about 15 inches and I bought the small for her. It fits perfectly with enough room to make it tighter, if we want to, or make it looser as she grows. Right now, I keep it sort of right in between tight and loose because that seems to be most comfortable for her. Since she is so young, this was her first time wearing a harness. At first, she was not a fan. But she quickly forgot about it, and now she literally steps right into it for me when I bring it out. I think she actually likes the support and safety it gives her. She’s become a little more adventurous now, so this harness is a big win for me and my girl. Her name is Covi. A couple things to note... the underside of it that touches her fur is more of a neoprene material, but it’s still wicked soft and feels like it would be comfortable if I were forced to wear one as a human (lol!), the outer part is mostly a soft mesh feeling material and the edges are a fleece material. I absolutely love that there is Velcro to close it on her back AND a nice thick buckle for added security. It really makes me feel like there’s no way that thing is coming undone. On top of those two things, you then also have the two silver hooks to attach your leash to, and that has been a nice feature for Covi. Prior to this, I was just using a collar and she could always reach around to chew on the leash that way, so now she can’t even reach it. Overall, I’m just thoroughly impressed. Buy this! You won’t regret it!

This harness is really comfortable for my cat and breathable. For reference my cat is 10-12lbs and is on the fatter size rather than being big. He didnt like the harness at first but got used to it and loved it when he realized he would go outside wearing it. Only "con" (and its not really a con) is I measured him and bought a small, however it is still a little too big for him and he can slip out of it, so when he goes outside I run a lease through the harness loops but attached the clip to his collar still. I will say though this harness and the seatbelt connector (bought separately) helped saved my cat when I get into an accident with him riding in the car with me (picture attached). Over all I really like the harness and my cat doesnt mind it, just wish I would have returned the small and exchanged it for an x-small.

The harness fit very well. I bought the "Large" size based on the sizing chart. I have a male Dachshund that has a 13" neck and a 19" chest (about 18#). So, that put him in the large size on the chart. The Velcro attachment had enough variation to pull the vest comfortably around his chest. I was surprised by how well it did fit because Dachshunds are usually pretty hard to fit due to their unique body shape. Also, the leg openings were larger than you usually see in a harness; which works out well for him because of his large, muscular front end. It does have a small amount of stretch too; which I assume; makes it more comfortable. I left it on him when he was closed in his porta kennel for a while. Usually, with the strap type harness like we were using, he would have pulled his front legs out of the openings somehow, because they are so short. That didn't happen with the mesh vest, probably due to the small amount of stretch. I think most of the sizing confusion people are having with this vest is that they are thinking "Large" means a large dog. I think the entire size range for this vest is meant for fairly small dogs and the only way to fit the harness is to go by the sizing chart. I realize it still may not work for all sizes and shapes, but it is a good way to get the best fit.

I love this harness for my pomeranian. the sizing is perfect with it not being too tight or too loose. he is a bit smaller than the usual size because he was born small. he weighs almost 4lbs. i'm not exactly sure what his measurements are but i took a guess at what size to get & i'm happy with the size i chose. i picked an XXXS for my guy because i went to petsmart & found an XXS harness for him but he was still able to get out of it. i've tried many other harness & this is the perfect one! it is the only one i have found to my liking. it has a velcro so you can stick it together before using the buckle & makes the harness more secure. it has two d rings which i love that it centers the leash when hooked on. the color is also exactly like the picture & the reflective bands do work well when used at night. & in addition, my puppy loooooves playing with it when i take it off him. i don't know what it is about him & buckles but they seem to be his favorite toys.
