But so far I need to be there with the dog and show her how to put her foot on it to press. Then she drinks like crazy. Hopefully soon she will realize she can do this herself and I don't need to show her at least once an hour. Like the big surface area for the dog to press. Like the white hose so even though it's in the shade it had less of a chance of getting too hot in a white hose. The length is perfect to come off a faucet on the side of the house. Seems sturdy but we haven't had it very long.

It also comes with a Y splitter (so you can also run a traditional hose off the same faucet) and another fitting, which may be a quick-connect (both are made of hard plastic).
