The first speed is good enough for me and the noise level is pretty good considering the fans are right by your ears. I would equate it to having a fan on in the room. It does get louder as you turn up the fan level, but its to be expected. The band is bendable so you can adjust the placement on your shoulders to make sure the wind is hitting you in the optimal way. All in all, its comfortable, cool, and having a rechargeable battery is an added bonus.

Fits comfortable around my neck. Lightweight, flexible. 3 speeds. When used on medium it lasts about 6 hours or so out of an 8 hour shift. When used on low it lasts all night. Blows nice cool air upwards towards your face. Even keeps your neck a little cool. Long hair will not get caught in anything as there are no open fan blades. Highly recommend! Great fan!
