I was worried after reading some reviews that it was too small and not sturdy. My mom had one of these and we would use it to make pelmeni and I was hoping it would be similar. And it is exactly like hers was! It's metal and very sturdy. The size is what's normal for pelmeni so I understand why it would be too small for typical ravioli but it's not made for that. It's specific for "Russian ravioli" which are basically more like mini dumplings. Anyways, I'm so excited to make pelmeni!!
