This vacuum worked great for beginning of season cleanup when I needed to add water to the pool anyway. Once you get a system figured out it's very good. The bag doesn't filter very finely and leaves sediment that has gone through the bag, so I still use our vacuum that goes through the sand filter for the fine stuff. But this one is great for pine needles, small leaves, and so forth. The suction is great if you have good water pressure.
