The booklet said 3-4 minutes for 2oz in plastic bottle and I did that but my bottle was so hot I couldn't feed it to her right away. But I do like the warming option where you can keep things warm 24 hours. I don't need it for that long but if I know my baby will wake up soon, I could turn that on and wait patiently for it to warm up.

As long as you test the temperature before giving to your baby it's not a problem! I would say it's a must have!
