When it's just me taking the two dogs out for a walk, I thought that having the two separate leashes (that only allows them to go a few feet from me) was tedious. Knock on wood, I have had this product for a month now and have not had any issues with the retraction on either side. And the swivel is perfect for when the dogs go around each other to sniff things. I absolutely LOVE this dual leash. Even if it broke after a few months, I would go out and invest in another because it is totally worth it and makes a solo dog-walker's life that much easier!

I can’t believe more companies don’t offer a leash like this. I don’t know what I’d do without it. Like other people said, sometimes you have to help it along to turn. It doesn’t really bother me. Its much easier than trying to handle three leashes at once. It also makes a pretty loud whirring sound when the leashes retract. That’s slightly obnoxious. I wish they offered options for longer leashes. I’ve only been using it for a couple weeks now, so I can’t speak to it’s quality as far as durability.
