Not is this army backpack water resistant, but it features 2 very large compartments that contain a variety of inner pockets where you can store all types of items in. It also has a built – in velcro pocket where you can store a hydro pack.

There are no rips or tears. Every zipper works and is still on track. All the pockets are good. Even the main gripe of this backpack, no bottom padding, has never been an issue. There's enough that setting it down on concrete floors, tables, and wherever else has never been an issue.
