It is also sharp out of the box (if you look in the video) I am slicing through tomatoes very easily. This is very well built and the metal is a thick 1/8” so it will last a lifetime. I would not buy this if you have small hands, weak in the arms, or have no grip. You should also have a large cutting board. Mine is 20”x20”. I looks like something straight out of a horror movie
