Most people with healthy hands and arms would want a regular styling curling wand. I have rheumatoid arthritis and the ones I end up burning myself somewhere on my hand. This takes a little bit of getting used to but I get a wonderful beach wave in my hair and with a light spray it stays until my next shampoo. I have serious rheumatoid arthritis and I'm able to manage this all the way around through the back. It won't give you tight curls but it will give you soft curls and waves.

Follow the directions and you'll have no problem. I feel like I've truly been missing out. I'm so happy to have a tool that is simple and effective for days I want to take the time and try. I have medium length hair, just past my shoulders. It naturally has a slight kink to it so not very straight but it is fine and there is a lot of it. My whole head took about 20-25 minutes which in my opinion is doable. Definitely try it out for yourself.
