I had a previous feeding toy that was just an empty plastic egg with adjustable holes - all the food basically fell out right away. This one is much better - it typically tosses out a few pieces of kibble at a time and always bobs back upright. I usually set the interior hole fairly small and it can take him an hour or so to get every last piece out.

It can be screwed back together but it doesn't last long. So we had to super glue it back together, which means it can't be taken apart again for a thorough cleaner. But we have had it for at least 5 years and have no complaints. Neither does our dog!
