I normally don’t like writing reviews, but I noticed there are no reviews from GSP owners for this product. I just have to say that this is THE best harness I’ve found to work for deep chested dogs like GSPs, Weimaraner’s and Boxers who like to run and pull. Other harnesses fit very awkwardly on my dog and she wasn’t very comfortable on the one we were using before I bought this one. A size large is perfect around the neck and long enough for her body, but she’s a lean 60lb dog, so it doesn’t fit super tight on her midsection. I use this harness to run my dog next to me on my bike, using the Walky Dog bike leash, also purchased here on Amazon. We bike anywhere from 7-14 miles a day and she has never appeared or felt more comfortable before, and it doesn’t appear to be rubbing her raw like previous harnesses did. Will definitely be purchasing again, whenever the time comes. Feels and looks pretty well made, other than the tethering loop, it looks as though it could come unknotted after a while. May consider adding a bungee and/or carabiner for safety with heavier pullers.
