But, those same grooves create a nice grip and we never had problems with the chair sliding around. Which in my opinion is more important! The chair was comfortable for my daughter. Easy to adjust the straps and kept her in safe. Easy to pop on and off.

It easily detached from the table and stores in a carry bag without doing anything except detaching it from the table and folding it up. It is cleaner and softer (more comfortable) than a typical high chair and has saved us more than once at an afternoon brewery outing or for dining at a high top. At least one person always stops us while we are eating to ask where we got this chair. Literally one of the things I don’t think we could live without with our 10 mo. Old! Highly recommend.
