I feel so sorry for the millions of elderly people being ripped off by hearing centers, when these will work for probably 95% of the hearing impaired. I know a woman who just paid $10K for a pair of hearing aids and yet cannot hear as well as I can. Many of my friends are now purchasing these. One warning: please begin on the lowest volume settings, because these amplifiers are especially powerful.

She has lost a few but for this price we have just bought multiple replacements. One ended up in the wash but still worked. For some reason it doesn't seem to help with the phone and we use a headphone speaker for the TV. Our use is just for conversation and it works great for that.
