This impressed me with the degree of comfort, flexibility, and features. I had a head-mount magnifier from Harbor Freight, but I hated using it because it was bulky, heavy, and miserable to wear for more than a minute or two. Not so with the Yoctosun magnifier: it's very comfortable (I prefer the eyeglass legs rather than the strap), and the lens & light angle adjustments mean that everything is visible. Bought it so I could see what I was doing when soldering guitar circuits and building e-cigarette coils/rigs, but I'm sure I'll find additional uses. I wish I'd found this a year or three ago!

I had been planing to order a convetional set of magnifiers... the big, clunky style that you see in machine shops. Im glad beyond belief I grabbed these. They are super light. The various strength lenses come in a great locking case. You can adjust the lenses to your eyes as well as point the LED.

This is probably one of the best workshop accessories I've purchased in the last year. When I bought this, I also bought a large swivel arm magnifying glass as well (which was 3x more expensive). My plan was to use this in my garage and the swivel arm at my desk, but these stereo lenses work so much better I'll probably just get a 2nd set of these.

I ordered this item with the intention of using it for jewelry-making, BUT....I had JUST gotten the shipment (literally) when my mom asked me to remove 2 towel-hooks from her bathroom. The new-style hooks have a TINY, weirdly-placed tension screw that holds the plate to the mount. I simply couldn't see the darn thing, so I opened the box from Amazon, strapped my new tool to my head, and PRESTO there was the screw! Easy to see, easy to remove, but ONLY because I had this magnifier. I can't imagine how this little job could've been done without it.
