The tension system is simple to use and not require to remove chain to tighten. I would not recommend it for cutting down large trees not enough power. It eliminates having to mix oil and gas plus struggling to pull start the engine. Just plug in electric and go.

I bought this chainsaw to do some limb cutting but it has enough power to easily cut trees into rounds. I still like my gas chainsaw for felling trees but it's nice having a saw you can stop and start with a push of a switch. I like the safety feature of having the chain stop as soon as you let off the switch. Chain tensioning is very easy. Well worth the money. Only thing it doesn't have is a throttle... it's either off or on full.
