My first thought was to give my puppy this toy for when he goes to sleep in his kennel but since he was not potty trained yet, I did not want to do that. Whenever we would cuddle, I would take this toy out and put on the heart beat on but it didn't seem to do much for him. In terms of the soothing and thinking he was with his littermates, this did nothing for him. I do think he has a special connection with the toy since he's had it since day 1 but not because of the heating & heart beat. He does love to chew on the toy's tongue, ears, & tail which seems to comfort him. Overall, didn't do much to soothe him but it is his best friend!
