I was going to buy a second one if I liked it since I presumed I'd need more than one but so far so good even in a large 900sqf apt in a 'E' floor layout still takes care of every surfaces from one end to the other by attracting with the blue light. I put it in the center fo the apt (middle bar of the E shape layout) and can hear from my bedroom the zapping of bugs. I also use it manually for flies that are in an odd place, I just bring it close to the bug and it gets zapped easily. I use a tissue to remove any residue but usually, they fall to the grown. GREAT product, I wish I would have bought one before.

Not only are these great products to fry mosquitos and other bothersome insects, they work well to make the cat stay away from the door when I'm trying to go out. He's an indoor cat who thinks he should be let out so he tries to sneak out any time he sees someone leaving. I found out by accident that he hates the noise these make when they're turned on and he'll run from the room. We humans can barely hear the noise but he sure can. I keep one in the kitchen now so if someone is going out and the cat's looking at the door, we just turn it on and poof, he's gone.

Still using in tandem with fly strips. I haven't heard or seen anything fly into it when it is turned on and sitting in the stand, but I charge it inside the house. I have had to recharge it a few times if I have just let it sit somewhere off the stand. I also bought the battery operated type for about $5 so both kids can help out and have to say both work about the same. The charging stand and " leave on" switch of this one is cool. But if you are looking to save $ the cheaper version is just as great.
