The light and magnifying capabilities are as promised, but I have a big head so they are tight on the temples. They do come with interchangeable options to hold them on your head, but if you take those off and boil a pot of water (rolling boil) and quickly dip the tip on each side into the hot water they do stretch so they can be adjusted for a more comfortable fit, just don't overdo it. You don't want to melt them. All you need is enough heat to slightly adjust their shape. If they are too lose they don't stay in place. If they are too tight they press on your temples and cause headaches. In my case they even made my teeth hurt, but that's not a design flaw. Everyone's head is a different size so we just need to learn how to adjust things to make them fit more comfortably.

It’s not made or the highest quality materials, but for the money these work great. They’re a little tricky to position with glasses, but they do fit. The lenses are surprisingly good for the money. I use these for both watchmaking and electronics and, without spending considerably more, I don’t think there’s a better solution out there. The only criticism I have is the optional elastic headband couldn’t possibly made for an adult head, so that’s useless. Beyond that flaw, this is the best you’ll get anywhere near this price-range.

I tried them out about a week after they arrived and OMG, I don't even need my glasses (readers) at all. I love the sturdy construction (I know because I dropped them as soon as I opened the box and then again about an hour later), sturdy enough to fall on tile and survive! Easy to change out the lenses, comes with a great storage case for said lenses and a nice strap. I'd buy again for sure!

Also comes with a small cleaning cloth, and head strap, which I find I don't need, but it's nice to have the option. They're relatively light weight, operate on three AAA batteries (included), and sit pretty firmly where you put them, without really slipping. The only down side: The light is good, but kind of glar-ish when working with metal. Sometimes it's easier to just turn it off, and work with my table lamp. My husband tried mine on for all of 12 seconds, and made me order him a set (he paints small 25mm gaming miniatures). Total win. If anything happened, I'd order the same in a heartbeat.

For the money you are looking to spend on something like this, I’m shocked that anyone has had a problem. I've had no trouble and I would go as far as saying that this seems worth more than what I'd paid for it. There isn’t a catch, nothing complicated - it’s straight forward. The materials make the price, so I feel the plastic, I see room for improvement to make it a luxury whatever the heck people were expecting. Please don’t interfere with the functionality it's works just fine. MAYBE I’d recommend padding, so it sits nicer on your the forehead, but I didn't need an imagination to find something at home that matches the shape. If you are creative, you then assume by increasing the distance between your eyes and the lens you are also giving more room for focal length adjustment. More room for adjustable focal length also means the more likely you can use this item for a greater variety of tasks. Don't be a pest, tinker with it, it costed you absolutely nothing.

Bought this to read some comics (I read a lot of them) that the lettering is so small and it works great. I had grown tired of holding a magnifying glass with my hand, keeping the comic open while trying to find the right angle of light to be able to read and see the comic. Seemed back then as I needed three hands. This item fix my problem and has all kinds of adjust ability and a built in light. It also comes with various magnification lenses that are interchangeable. I thought it would feel heavy, uncomfortable and tiresome on the face/nose but no. They feels almost the same as my regular glasses. Great buy for the price. I recommend it. Thank you all.

I love this device. It works with my glasses. It is reasonably light weight. Best of all, it comes with 5 different lenses and I use all of them. The case for the lenses is great for keeping them clean and scratch free. At first I thought that I would just use one or at most two but I was wrong. The lens can be tilted up out of the way when you don't want the magnification. It is a great value. The only criticism that I would have would be that I wish the packaging could be used to store the magnifier with a lens attached. I modified the plastic insert a little so I could do that.
